This initiation opens a personal relationship with Bobinsana - one of the Amazon’s most respected teacher plants.
Bobinsana is a medicine of depth, working slowly through presence to reveal what is true and restore right relationship so giving, receiving, and boundaries come back into balance. She teaches through felt presence - an intelligence that meets the heart where it already knows how to listen. This 7-week journey is for women on the medicine path who feel called to work with plants in a way that is grounded, embodied, and deeply respectful of the body, the nervous system, and the intelligence of the medicine itself. It is for those developing the capacity to sense what is theirs to carry, and what is not, especially while navigating deep healing, long-term spiritual work, or a return to a more embodied and truthful way of living. This work is held as a soft dieta: a slow, embodied path that prioritizes integration over intensity, relationship over experience, and inner authority over external guidance. The medicine continues working beyond the formal container, shaping how you feel, perceive, relate, and make choices in your life. |
Feminine power does not demand attention.
It moves quietly, through presence, felt rather than announced. It is the courage to stay with what is unfolding, the grace to listen before acting, and the trust to let what is true reveal itself in its own time. This is a power that lives in the body, in relationship, and in the slow intelligence of the Earth.
This initiation is an invitation to reclaim this power within yourself.
It also serves as the first plant initiation within Women of the Earth, opening a longer initiatory path devoted to feminine embodiment, relational medicine, and ethical leadership in service to life.

THE HEART OF SACRED DIETA
|
This initiation is held as a soft dieta, a relational and devotional practice through which plant intelligence is invited to work over time. It's not about outcomes or peak experiences, but dieta creates the conditions for listening, integration, and lasting reorganization. This kind of listening opens the way of living relationship with the plants, one that can continue long after the formal dieta has ended. In this container, you will work with three Amazonian plant teachers, each serving a role: Bobinsana The primary teacher of this initiation. Bobinsana works gently but precisely, opening the heart without collapse and revealing emotional truth with clarity and care. Her medicine supports discernment, embodied boundaries, creative sensitivity, and a deepening capacity to remain open while rooted. Ayahuasca Vine (Banisteriopsis caapi — vine only, microdosing) Worked with in a non-psychoactive, legal microdosing protocol, the Vine supports clarity, perception, and inner alignment. Rather than inducing visions, she strengthens the capacity to see truth clearly, loosen deeply held attachments, and embody one’s medicine with steadiness and strength. Mapacho (Sacred Amazonian Tobacco) Mapacho provides protection, grounding, and energetic coherence. His role in this work is to stabilize the field, support clear boundaries, and bring focus and integrity to the process. He helps cut through confusion and supports the body in holding strong, clear containment. Through this soft dieta, participants often experience a gradual reorganization of their inner landscape, including:
This work unfolds through deep listening, attunement, and the support of a coherent group container. Being witnessed and held within a shared field of integrity allows the medicine to work more deeply, both individually and collectively |
THE MEDICINE OF BOBINSANA
|
Bobinsana (Calliandra angustifolia), sometimes called "Sirenita Bobinsana", is a revered master teacher plant of the Amazon, traditionally connected to water, sensitivity, and emotional depth. She grows near rivers and streams and is recognized by her bright pink flowers. For this initiation, we work with wild-harvested, ethically sourced Bobinsana from the San Martín region of Peru.
Bobinsana is often spoken of as a heart-opening medicine — and while this is true, it is only part of her teaching. Her softness is not fragility. She works through tenderness to refine strength, revealing emotional truth without overwhelm and bringing awareness into places that have learned to protect, contract, or disconnect. Her medicine supports an embodiment of compassion along with discernment. Rather than bypassing difficult experiences, Bobinsana gently illuminates patterns, defenses, or misalignments, allowing them to soften and reorganize over time. Through this relationship, the heart opens gently, grounded by her roots that allow sensitivity to mature into resiliency and clarity. Openness does not require self-abandonment, and empathy can deepen without losing one’s center. Bobinsana’s work is deeply embodied. Many women experience increased emotional fluidity, nervous system regulation, and a greater capacity to remain present with sensation and feeling. Over time, self-trust deepens, boundaries strengthen without hardening, and truth becomes easier to live within relationship. |
Traditionally, Bobinsana has also been used in physical and energetic healing in the Amazon, including baths, tinctures, and topical preparations. She is known to support the nervous system, purify the blood, and restore vitality, and has been used for conditions such as rheumatism, colds, uterine imbalances, and fatigue. She also supports dreamtime learning and subtle perception, guiding insight to arise gently. In this work, her primary role is as a long-term teacher whose influence continues well beyond the dieta.
THE MEDICINE OF THE VINE
|
The Ayahuasca Vine (Banisteriopsis caapi), often called the Vine of the Soul, is a profound teacher in many Amazonian traditions. Her medicine is known for guiding people back toward truth through clarity, courage, and inner alignment. She supports a quiet confidence, helping us meet life with greater steadiness, grace, and inner strength.
In this soft dieta, women have the option to work with the Vine through a non-psychoactive, legal microdosing protocol. Offered over a 4-week period, this approach supports deeper meditative states, grounded insight, and embodied presence without overwhelming the nervous system. Her teaching is subtle and strengthens the capacity to stay present and aligned as life unfolds. She works synergistically with Bobinsana, helping women remain steady as emotional and perceptual shifts move through. On a physical and energetic level, the Vine is traditionally understood to support nervous system regulation and neural re-patterning. Many experience increased stability, clarity, well-being and resilience over time. In this initiation, her role is not dramatic transformation, but quiet deepening, supporting courage, strength, and alignment in daily life. |
THE MEDICINE OF MAPACHO
|
Mapacho (Nicotiana rustica), the sacred Amazonian tobacco, is a powerful and protective plant spirit, sometimes considered a Grandfather / Elder energy. Tobacco holds a container for deep work, stabilizing the field and anchoring clarity, strength, and direction.
Mapacho is known for his capacity to cut through confusion and illusion, through clarity. His medicine brings focus and truth into the field, helping what is essential stand apart from what is not. In this way, he supports alignment with truth and steadiness of purpose, balancing the more fluid and receptive qualities of Bobinsana’s medicine. In this soft dieta, women have the option to work with Mapacho in cleansing and grounding forms, including water and smoke. His presence purifies the energetic field, supports strong boundaries, and creates a safe and sacred container for the work to unfold. Mapacho’s spirit teaches discipline, respect, and integrity. His presence calls us back to intention as we walk our medicine path. He supports strong energetic boundaries and invites communication with is authentic, clear and precise. |

WHY DO A SOFT DIETA?
|
The journey centers around a 10-day soft dieta — a modified version of the traditional Amazonian plant dieta. In these sacred practices, healers ingest plant decoctions and communicate with the plant spirits to learn their healing properties.
A soft dieta offers the profound experience of working with plant medicine safely from the comfort of your home, integrated into your everyday life. It allows you to connect deeply with a plant teacher and discover how she can guide you in your life, work, and relationships. In a soft dieta, you create a sacred container to welcome the spirit of the plant. This involves eating a simple, cleansing diet, limiting interactions with the outside world to essential responsibilities, and cultivating energetic space through ritual, practice, and listening. These forms of containment are not about restriction, but about reducing interference so the plant’s guidance can be perceived clearly and integrated steadily. As the plant’s spirit integrates into your energy field, you may feel her presence building. This relationship does not end when the dieta ends; it deepens over time, forming a long-term relationship with the plant’s wisdom. To honor this process, there are additional dietary and lifestyle guidelines to follow for a period after the dieta concludes. |
Disclaimer: Please research and consult your doctor if you have medical conditions or are taking medications. Ideally, during dieta, no medications are consumed (though some are allowed - reach out to me for more info.) Bobinsana is traditionally used as a contraceptive in Peru. While there is no research to confirm this, those currently seeking to get pregnant are advised against taking this plant. A medical consultation may be required before joining this soft dieta if there are any contraindications.

SUPPORT & GUIDANCE
|
We meet online as a group over 7 weeks. These gatherings are held in sacred space and include guided meditations, energetic support, and integration. We connect with the spirit of Bobinsana, the Vine, and Mapacho, while allowing the intelligence of the group field to support the unfolding of the work.
The power of meeting in group lies in shared presence and resonance. The collective field supports the work, while each woman remains in direct relationship with the medicine and her own process. Being in a coherent field with others working with the same medicines often deepens learning, steadiness, and integration, while honoring each woman’s unique process. Private 1:1 Sessions Included in your journey is one private 90-minute Energy Clearing & Alignment session. This session offers personalized guidance, energetic support, and attunement to the plants as they are working with you. Together, we listen into your energy field to support clarity, release what is ready to move, and deepen trust in your own sensing and relationship with the medicine. |
OPTIONAL DEEP DIVE
The Deep Dive includes two additional 90-minute private sessions, which can be scheduled anytime during the dieta or in the integration phase. This option may be supportive for those called into deeper or more nuanced layers of work, including:
The Deep Dive is for additional support as depth naturally unfolds. These sessions provide a grounded container to stabilize perception of subtle realms, strengthen boundaries and your connection with the plants, and support integration so what is received can be lived with clarity and integrity.
- Highly sensitive or perceptually open individuals
- Those exploring subtle or complex energetic patterns
- Healers or facilitators refining their personal medicine

"I’m learning lessons about giving and receiving, right relationship, and stewarding creative life force energy. I've also been exploring entanglements and interdependence. Bobinsana has been a gentle, but strong guide. Very light and grounded. She's helping me integrate all aspects of my being, bridging soul and humanness through the heart. I feel much lighter and clearer on all levels of my being. A reset of my digestive system. A reset of my subtle body. Noticing a huge uptick in joy and energy. Also more clarity on priorities - I feel like I've been pulled out of some of the ruts I'd fallen into and see more choice and thus more alignment with my values. There's a beautiful balance of guidance and healthy containment [in the group container] with the ability to meet you where you're at and leave you the freedom of your own experience. Plenty of space to ask questions and receive deeper support if you need it, but also lots of encouragement to build your own relationship with the plant and find your way.”

"My nervous system feels refreshed and uplifted after the diet. I feel a softening & lightness in my overall healing process, more joy and heart opening, and a greater sense of ease. I felt Bobinsana really guide me in deepening into my heart, finding integrity and the courage to move from this place in my life. I loved how Jaime held the space. Her style supported me in deepening my own relationship with the plant, and offered what felt like the right amount of guidance that allowed me to step into cultivating this. Her words would often stay with me and show up later as doorways to deepening with the plant and in my own process. I feel resonant with how Jaime relates with plants and appreciate the integrity and wisdom she carries that feels to teach a respectful, true, and grounded relationship with the plant world. This is how I hope for people to get to know the teachings of plants, and our place in and right relationship with the natural world."

“I learned that the plants help to work with me over the long haul. They crack a wound open slightly, to offer a peek into a part of myself that needs examination and ultimate clearing. I learned that I could diet a plant at home with as much depth, commitment, and direct connection to the plant kingdom as strongly and immediately as I could in the jungle. Bobinsana is patient but effective in how she worked with me and my attachments to slowly peel away at them to expose them piece-by-piece and deal with them manageably. It is up to me to decide when to let go of those attachments that cause suffering, stagnation, or illness.... I thought that I would easily get derailed with all the distractions of living in the city and dealing with typical life demands as a single parent but…it helped a great deal to stick to the guidelines of the dieta and stay on track. I loved the energy work and the feedback offered during each session. Although this dieta can be done alone, it was nice to do it with others, even remotely, as everyone's energies and intentions are added to the richness of the container and the overall experience."

FAQs
|
What is the Difference of Micro-dosing vs. a Plant Dieta?
A plant dieta initiates a deep, relational connection with a plant spirit. It follows the traditional practice of opening a contract in the spirit world to work with the medicine of the plant. In Amazonian traditions (and in other traditions that do this in their own ways), it is the process of creating a very clean ceremonial sacred space to learn directly from the plant. This requires following specific food and lifestyle guidelines, both to ensure physical safety and to create a clear energetic space so you can sense, hear, and feel the vibration and teachings of the plant. The plants work on the level of spirit and subtle energy (sometimes referred to as the “shamanic realms”), which is why a clean physical and energetic space is important in order to sensitively perceive these levels of awareness and communication. The most traditional form is an isolation dieta, done in the Amazon under the guidance of a maestro or curandero/a. These teachers and healers have long, deep, and dedicated relationships with the plants and know how to navigate these realms and guide the work of the plant in a safe and healing way. Doing an at-home “soft” dieta, sometimes called an attunement, is a modified version of the traditional isolation dieta. You enter into a sacred container with a plant spirit while still engaging in your everyday life. There are still dietary and lifestyle requirements to keep the space clean and aligned, but they are less stringent than in an isolation dieta. Unless you already have your own established practice, these are typically done under the guidance of a teacher, healer, or guide who has cultivated a relationship with the plants. (Note: Not all plants are well suited for at-home dietas.) Micro-dosing is a gentler, more accessible way to get to know a plant. It involves taking a very small dose of the medicine following a specific protocol over a period of time. In this initiation, micro-doses of the Vine are used to support, weave, and help stabilize the deeper relational work being done with Bobinsana, rather than to replace the dieta itself. What are the food & lifestyle limitations? Check out the Basic Guidelines here. When working with the plants, you will be asked to follow a clean diet based on traditional guidelines, adapted for modern life. This includes avoiding alcohol, caffeine, sugar, fermented foods, chili, strong herbal supplements, and sexual activity, among other restrictions. These guidelines support both physical safety and the creation of a clear energetic and nervous system environment so the teachings of the plants can be perceived more distinctly. On days when you are not micro-dosing or actively in the soft dieta, there is more flexibility. These guidelines are not meant as punishment or deprivation, but as practical supports that reduce interference and allow the medicine to work with clarity. If you have dietary needs or minor health considerations, my medical advisor and I have often been able to develop accommodations that meet individual needs. Please reach out with questions. What will I be eating? During the dieta and micro-dosing period, meals are simple and nourishing. Foods typically include organic vegetables, limited fruit, legumes, lentils, mung dal, rice, quinoa, oats, seeds, and other grains, along with small amounts of organic oil and salt. For those who need additional grounding or protein, bone broth or fish may be included in limited amounts. This way of eating supports clarity in the body, nervous system, and emotional field. Most people find that simplifying food intake becomes an important part of the overall process, helping them release habitual patterns and become more sensitive to the medicine. As with all aspects of this work, individual needs can often be accommodated with communication. What about sexual energy & exchange? During the dieta and post dieta period, sexual activity—whether with another person or alone—is paused. Abstaining from sexual exchange is a traditional guideline that supports energetic coherence, containment, and depth of work. Sexual energy is powerful. Redirecting it inward during the dieta helps preserve the integrity of the relationship with the plant spirit and supports the nervous system as subtle emotional and perceptual shifts unfold. Engaging sexual energy outward during this time can disrupt the medicine’s work and create confusion or imbalance. This guideline is not about restriction or morality, but about honoring the sacred container of the dieta and your own healing process. This work asks for commitment and willingness to meet oneself honestly, including patterns held in the body and energy field. If you feel unable to honor this guideline at this time, it may be best to wait for a future opportunity to work with the medicine. |
Why work with a guide?
While the plants themselves are powerful teachers, plant medicine requires containment, experience, and discernment. As one of my teachers shared, the plants themselves account for only part of the process. The remainder depends on the quality of the container in which the work is held. A guide’s role is not to control or interpret your experience, but to open, protect, and stabilize the space so a clear, safe relationship with the plant can form. This includes attending to energetic coherence, pacing, and integration throughout the journey, and ensuring the space is properly opened and closed. It’s essential to work with someone who has a lived relationship with the plants, understands how the physical, emotional, and subtle dimensions interact, and has been trained to navigate this work responsibly. Ideally, this is someone you trust and resonate with, who has undergone sustained apprenticeship and continues to work under guidance themselves. I hold this work from within a long-term relationship with the plants and an ongoing apprenticeship lineage. I continue to work with my own teachers, and I value guidance as an essential part of depth-oriented practice. My role is to tend the container so each woman can enter a direct, trustworthy relationship with the plants (not by directing individual experiences, but by supporting clarity, safety, and integration as the medicine moves). Working with plants without guidance is not recommended unless one has been trained to navigate these dimensions across physical, energetic, and spiritual levels. Will this fit my schedule? There is some flexibility built into the timing. The start date for microdosing and the soft dieta can be adjusted within a defined window. For the dieta portion, you will need a solid 10 day period during which you can follow the food and lifestyle guidelines. This generally means cooking for yourself and simplifying your schedule. The recommended window for beginning the 10-day dieta is between March 12–31, though completing the process anytime before April 8 is fine. I encourage participants to plan for extra spaciousness during the dieta, especially around social and work commitments, as sensitivity and perception tend to increase. How many people will the group be limited to? The group is limited to 12 women. I guide this work in small, intimate groups so the container remains cohesive, grounded, and supportive. A smaller group allows for clearer attunement, stronger coherence, and more individualized support while still benefiting from the shared field. I am on medications and / or have a medical condition - can I still participate? It depends. Some medications and health conditions are compatible with this work, while others are not. I work in consultation with a medical advisor, and we can explore whether participation is appropriate in your case. Ultimately, it is your responsibility to consult with a qualified medical professional regarding your health. If you are on medication or managing a medical condition, please reach out early so we can assess whether this container is a good fit. Can I do this in my normal everyday life?Yes, with some mindfulness. This initiation is designed to be lived alongside everyday responsibilities. During the 10-day soft dieta, it is recommended that you are not traveling and that you minimize social activity. Many people find they feel more sensitive during this time, so reducing stimulation, loud environments, and stressful work is advised. Creating additional space for rest and time to yourself or in nature will support deeper integration. You can continue your normal life, but planning even a half or full day of extra spaciousness during the dieta is often very supportive (optional). Can I work with other plant or frog medicines, or psychedelics? No. Working with other medicines during this container is not permitted (with one exception). Please review the Basic Guidelines here. This is for both physical safety and energetic clarity. Combining medicines can create serious contraindications, and it also interferes with the depth of relationship that dieta requires. This initiation asks for focus and simplicity so you can learn directly from a primary plant teacher without interruption. |

ABOUT JAIME
|
Jaime is a Plant Medicine Guide, Intuitive and Energy Medicine Practitioner who supports people on long-term healing and awakening paths through private mentorship, group work, traditional plant dietas in Peru, and soft dietas held at home.
Her work bridges Amazonian plant wisdom, subtle energy awareness, and embodied presence into modern life. She guides people in developing a grounded, relational connection with plants, the Earth, and their own inner knowing — supporting clarity, integrity, and coherence rather than peak experience or bypassing. Jaime works with clients on deep and subtle levels, supporting the healing of trauma, addiction, ancestral and collective patterns, and conditioned ways of relating through plant spirit medicine, energy work, and careful integration. She teaches people how to listen deeply to the body, the plants, and their own inner wisdom, so their truth can be lived moment to moment rather than held as an idea. She has been a student of Amazonian plant medicine traditions for over 16 years, including more than three years living in the Peruvian Amazon. She has completed traditional dietas with more than twenty plants under the guidance of Mestizo, Quechua, and Lamista ayahuasceros and tabaqueros, and continues in ongoing apprenticeship. Jaime has practiced energy medicine for over 13 years and is shaped by her yogic and meditative practices, psychological understanding, and non-dual awareness.
