Magic on the Mountain

I went straight up the mountain yesterday.

I hesitated going, as these mountains are steep and high and I was feeling a little worn out already. In addition, these mountains always seem to push me through a transformation.

But slowing down to listen to the tired places within me, there was another voice that wasn't so tired after all. "You got this; steady, committed and pace yourself, don't overdo it."

As I immersed myself climbing straight up through the trees, not being able to see much more than 15 feet up, clarity started pouring in. My inner world of indecision and uncertainty disappeared. In came inspiration, aliveness, and enjoyment of the steady, committed path.

My heart lit up, as I reconnected to what truly nourishes my soul. I became alive as Mother Earth welcomed me. The elements reminded me of who I am, and I felt the guidance of all my beloved plant teachers  - in their purity, their beauty, their love and their profound wisdom.

I welcomed the joy that flows through every ounce of my being that I get to be supported by nature and these plant teachers, each and every day.

And the amplification when I get to introduce others to the incredible healing power of the plants, and they get to find their own intimate connection.

The moment when someone truly meets Mother Earth, especially in the form of her plant beings (because these can get in there really deep!) - there's a recognition, a coming home, a powerful release.

Mother Earth, her elements and her plants guide us to the exact places we've been unable to access- the places where we have been denying ourselves, tied, bound and stuck. And we can then reclaim our own truth, our hearts, our love, and our joy.

That is what we all want. That's what this world needs. Us in our deepest truth, us in our hearts, us in what lights us up.

What an incredible gift that the plants and the Earth can help us find our own magic within.
