JAIME K LEHNER, MS, MBA

Jaime is a Plant Medicine Guide, Intuitive and Energy Medicine Practitioner. Jaime guides those on a healing and spiritual awakening path through private mentorship, group work, Master Plant Dietas in Peru and "soft dietas" from the comfort of their own homes.

Jaime bridges ancient ways of communicating with the Earth & Spirit into our modern lives. She holds a powerful energetic presence and creates a beautiful space for people to discover their deepest wisdom and truths. She specializes working with clients on deep levels - healing traumas, addictions and outdated patterns of conditioning through the support of plant spirit medicine, subtle energy healing & universal consciousness. She teaches clients the skills to connect with the Earth & Spirit, activate their own empowered healership and develop an awareness and their own navigation system that bridges altered states, plants & everyday life.

Jaime has been a student of Amazonian traditional plant medicines for 15 years, including more than 3 years living in the Peruvian Amazon. She has undergone traditional dietas with 20+ plants, under the guidance of Mestizo, Quechua, & Lamista-based ayahuasceros and tabaqueros. 

Jaime has been practicing energy medicine for 11+ years. Jaime draws on her yogic & meditative practices, embodied understanding of psychological personality patterns, and non-dual wisdom. Her soul's passion is connecting us humans to the wisdom of the Earth and our own innate wisdom so we become devoted students & guardians of this planet each in our own unique paths.

Officially, she is certified as a Luminous Awareness Energy Medicine Practitioner, a Counselor, an Addiction Recovery and Psycho-Spiritual Integration Coach and a Shamanic Yoga instructor. Jaime holds an MS in Environmental Engineering, and an MBA in Sustainable Management.

Jaime recently returned to her birthplace of Santa Fe, NM where she is deepening into the powerful Land of Enchantment. She spends her time wandering the desert with her Peruvian pup, Chiric Sanango, practicing yoga and meditation, communing with the plants and the land, and renovating her home in the mountains.

MY VISION

My vision is for humanity to live in health and harmony on Mother Earth, with respect, honor and care for all beings - human, plant, animal and the un-seen. I believe all of us have a unique contribution  to the evolution of our earthly existence. To uncover and offer our own contributions - which is our own medicine and our soul's work - it often begins with an awakening - or a realization that our world it not what we thought it was.

The spiritual awakening path is not for the faint of heart. It requires great courage to dive deep into personal and collective healing of this planet. With it comes a recognition and then embodiment of the inter-connectedness of all things, so that we can each channel our unique medicine into the world.

MY STORY

As an environmental engineer, I did not feel like I was contributing enough to help the condition of the environment. I saw how many decisions were made by executives based on money and profit. I went on to get an MBA in Sustainable Management hoping that the business skills would help me have a bigger impact on the people making the decisions. Ultimately, what I experienced is that people running the businesses of our world are often deeply conflicted internally, playing out core wounds externally and disconnected from their hearts. Looking inward to see my own conflicts, I started down a path of healing and spiritual inquiry. After years of maintaining a life in the "normal” working world while exploring my own inner world, I felt the calling to leave my career behind and become a full-time student of my own path and vision. It’s taken me deeper than I ever imagined into my own healing, far to the other side of the world and beyond the frontiers of human consciousness - all to arrive back here, present and forever learning how to live in alignment with my truth.

My journey  has led me to:

• Nearly 15 years of experience in the Peruvian Amazon working with ayahuasca, tobacco, and other master teacher plants. During my first trip to the Amazon in 2010, I had a profound awakening that has taken me years to integrate and begin to share with others. I returned in 2011 and 2012 for longer and longer periods of time. Then between 2014-2018, I lived in Tarapoto learning with various healers and dieting master teacher plants.  I continue this practice of "dietting" here at home in the US, and return each year to Peru to deepen my learning in these ancient ways.  In addition to my own personal healing work, I  organize and support groups from around the world in entering into relationship with master teacher plants.  This work is a life-long undertaking for me, following the steps of discipline, deep communication and honoring of the wisdom of the jungle.  Please see Retreats to learn about any upcoming group dietas in Peru.

 

• 6+ years of training and assisting at the Luminous Awareness Institute. The Institute synthesizes ancient Eastern teachings, energetic practices, and Western psychology into an array of tools for awakening and healing. This work has sent me through deep healing of my core wounds, deepened my understanding of my awakening experiences and trained me to work with subtle and higher levels of energy.  I have a Level 2 Luminous Awareness Practitioner certification (through 800+ hours of training), and offer clients support to access and transform unconscious energetic patterns that create our reality. From this training, I've also been able to guide clients to develop their own recognition of higher consciousness that is always available to them. 

 

• 15+ years of my own yogic practice - asana, pranayama, and meditation. In 2012, I completed a 200-hr shamanic yoga teacher training in Cusco, Peru that combined the consciousness modifications of shamanism, plant medicines and yoga. I felt an internal call to go to India for years before I finally made my first pilgrimage. Over the 8 months (2 trips), I lived in ashrams, focused on my own sadhana, visited countless temples, worked with healing masters on the banks of the Ganges, and undertook several month-long Ayurvedic panchakarmas to cleanse the body-mind-spirit. I also had the fortunate opportunity to sit in the presence of the Dalai Lama and meditate in numerous Buddhist monasteries in Ladhak. India is also a life-long commitment, and I very much look forward to my next return.

 

• In addition, I’ve had 20+ years of my own therapy, counseling, and energy healing sessions. Having the support of other people has been essential in my path. While much of my journey has been solo learning through direct experience, without the support and encouragement of others to help me discover my true self, I would not be where I am today. 
  
  

In my integration, I'm developing offerings to be of service to others on their own awakening and spiritual journeys - whether it takes them deep into the Amazon, to the highest peaks of the Himalayas or simply into the heart and soul of who they are, which is always right here, right now. This, I believe, is the path to greater harmony on Mother Earth. She needs us now, more than ever before.
