Born in Iran, raised in the US, lived in Hawai’i, Spain and India, then traveled the world over several times before calling the Peruvian Amazon home for the last 18 years. Aubrey Bamdad is a citizen of Gaia. Her body of work bridges the fields of Ayurveda, yoga and their corresponding Vedic technologies with traditional Amazonian medicine and the shamanic realms and plumbs into the depths of occult and esoteric Egyptology. She is a mother, writer, teacher, philosopher and visionary, as well as an Ayurvedic practitioner, yogini, and contemporary vegetalista with decades of immersive experience in these respective wisdom traditions. Aubrey is a sought-after and well-respected teacher the world over who has been leading transformative wellness retreats and spiritual tours abroad full time for 17 years and has made pilgrimages to sacred sites all over Gaia. When she is not guiding seekers or being a pilgrimess herself, she practices biomancy in her verdant sanctuary of plants and animals located in the high jungles of Amazonia. She has been a student of Amazonian traditional plant medicines for nearly 15 years, including more than 3 years living in the Peruvian Amazon. She has undergone traditional dietas with 20+ plants, under the guidance of Mestizo, Quechua, & Lamista-based ayahuasceros and tabaqueros.. Jaime has been practicing energy medicine for 10+ years. She draws on her yogic & meditative practices, embodied understanding of psychological personality patterns, and non-dual wisdom.
