About Sananga:
Sananga is an extract made from the roots of the Tabernaemontana sananho plant. Sananga is traditionally used in the eyes to treat eye problems, sharpen vision, realign energies, and remove negative spiritual energies. It can increase focus and concentration, and clears the 3rd eye in preparation for meditation. You can research the numerous benefits of sananga online. It is commonly known to improve eye conditions, enhance visualization, and clear the mind.
These drops can have powerful effects on your visualization, and are commonly applied before ayahuasca or kambo ceremonies. Traditionally, tribes have been known to be use sananga to enhance perception for hunting in the jungle.
Dosage: Shake before use! Add 1-2 drop per eye. Acute effects (intense burning) can last 10-15 minutes. Subtle effects may last longer. You can apply directly to each eye, or while lying down with eyes closed, place one drop in each eye corner. Then open your eyes and blink a dozen times to distribute the drop.
Storage: MUST STORE IN THE REFRIGERATOR.
Note: Contact lenses should be removed before applying sananga, and not to be reinserted until after 24 hours after application. If you have eye conditions, please consult your eyecare practitioner and research the effect of sananga on your conditions prior to applying.
Sourcing:
Wankawi intends to do it's best for ethically sourcing these Amazonian Medicines. While traveling to the jungle to ensure cultivation, preparation, sale and shipment processes is not possible, we ask as many questions as we can to ensure all are in alignment with our values. We work with women suppliers and preparers when possible to support their livelihoods. We also buy from suppliers that have a well known reputation for highest quality products. Wankawi is driven by sustainability, in all senses. If any of these medicines become endangered, or we hear of unethical or ecologically destructive practices, we will discontinue offering these medicines. The foremost important aspect of working with these medicines is to listen - to the plants themselves, the Wisdom of the Earth and the communities and traditions from which they originate. Only when we take care of the entire system, can we truly heal, thrive and create a new world.
*A portion of proceeds (5-10%) is donated annually back to the communities or organizations working to support Amazonian communities and the plants.
