SLOWING DOWN TO LISTEN

𝗦𝗟𝗢𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗗𝗢𝗪𝗡 𝗧𝗢 𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗡

The work with plant medicines gets deep into our bodies, our psyches, and our spirit. They show us all the places we are out of alignment. We see, we feel, we heal and we re-create ourselves. 

Integration requires time and space. As with any relationship, we need our own space to find ourselves, to come back to center and stabilize. We go on journeys through consciousness with these medicines, and we must give ourselves the time, the space and patience to let the transformation move through us. 

Our culture has a tendency to over-consume, to go harder, faster, be more productive. When working with the plants, this is not necessarily better. They work on different frequencies as they move through our energy fields. They are not a one night show. The depth and immensity of their wisdom unfolds through your entire life.

I’ve been hearing the question a lot “How much medicine do I take? With what frequency?” There’s a listening to the intelligence of the plant in you that can offer the answer. This type of deep listening requires cultivation. Most of us have been conditioned to NOT listen to the subtle cues of our bodies and of the world around us. What we know is to “do” in order to achieve some state of mind, of healing, of success, of accomplishment.

But we can train ourselves to simply sit, and 𝗕𝗘 and listen and watch. Here, the magic of the plant medicines takes on a new form and journey. The relationship deepens, and the teachings begin to show us how to bring about the changes we truly desire in our lives.
