That bright light within

✨ 𝕋𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕓𝕣𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥 𝕝𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥 𝕨𝕚𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕟. ✨

I believe we all have inside an incredible reservoir of light and joy. There's a part of us that is happy and excited to be alive. No matter what.

Our child-selves within each of us - they remember this essence; they 𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙚 it.

If you watch children, you can see them shreeking in delight on the playground, or their excitement while telling a story from deep within their creative imaginations.

We often lose contact with these parts of ourselves - with our 𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩. Stress, anxiety, depression, life challenges, overworking, loneliness, grief - all come in and cover up our light.

We unconsciously do this to protect the creative parts of ourselves that don't feel safe or loved in the world, or to try to belong in a world that doesn't welcome or understand our unique light.

Over the past couple of years, I've been working with an ancient plant teacher that's an incredible guide to rediscovering this light living deep within. This teacher is tumeric  - with a magnificent color that you san sense is 𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙪𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜  & 𝙥𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙛𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜.

✨ Tumeric uplifts and cleans the energy within our cellular body, reminding us we have 𝙥𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙮 to use for whatever our creativity desires.

✨ Tumeric holds us and baths us in her own light. So that the emotions and memories of why we hid our light up in the first place can resurface and be transformed.

✨ She's a powerful healer who rejuvenates our body-mind-spirit. As medicine, she detoxifies our blood, supports our immunity, and uplifts our moods.

When we are fully supported, our natural tendency is to 𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚.

It's always here; and if we reconnect to it, we transform ourselves and the world around us.
